This is a rich wine with intense wood influence and bold tannins punctuated by great swathes of black fruits. The structure and the fruit are there, and will develop with richness and spice.

A firm and lightly chewy young red with blackberry and blueberry character. Medium to full body, firm and polished tannins and a flavorful finish. Shows intensity and depth.

Impressive, the 2018 Château La Couspaude reveals a deep purple color as well as a beautiful bouquet of pure crème de cassis, spring flowers, and graphite. With a terrific sense of minerality, remarkable purity, medium to full body, and ripe tannins, it's a gorgeous 2018 I'd be happy to have in the cellar.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 La Couspaude is slightly reduced to begin, giving way to compelling notions of Christmas cake, warm black plums and boysenberries with touches of chocolate box, licorice and truffles. Full, concentrated and laden with black fruit preserves and spicy layers, it has a solid, velvety frame and just enough freshness, finishing long and earthy.
