B‑21 has always offered the best wines at the best prices of any vendor. I had a lot of problems with FedEx shipping on several occasions, but all of a sudden they've implemented a new schedule and notification system that really seems to work. This delivery was on time and perfect. Looking forward to my next order.

Good selection, fair prices and prompt/economical delivery. Minor but worrisome gripe: 2 bottles in the last shipment either were corked or the corks were loosen in shipment. The bottles were both fully intact, as were the foil caps, but both had leaked into the box. One lost about 75% of the wine, and the other only about 10%. They were 2 of 6 vermentino wines from as very reputable Tuscan producer that I know well, having been there twice.

Sadly, UPS damaged my shipment of the last bottles of Banyuls wine in B‑21 inventory. The message I received was that the unbroken bottles of my order was being returned to sender (B‑21). I was beyond bummed! B‑21's customer service was extraordinary. In order to arrange for a replacement shipment to be sent, they had to replenish their stock. Within a few hours, I got a message saying the wine was ordered, and confirmed that I'd receive an email when the order was shipped. I couldn't ask for better service. I highly recommend B‑21 for their selection and service. Thanks so much for going above and beyond.

The folks at B‑21 turn orders quickly and the$24/case shipping cost is reasonable. My shipment arrived with one broken bottle that apparently was empty when it was packed, as there was no evidence of wine in any dividers, the bottles in the case, or the case itself. The cork was still in the bottle. It was disappointing to lose a bottle of my wife's favorite wine, and they refunded the price of the bottle without delay. It was unfortunate that this happened, but hard to understand how an empty bottle could have been put in the case. I am satisfied with their response and hope to continue doing business with them.

Ending his family’s decades’ long practice of selling grapes to the local coop, Enzo Boglietti established his La Morra winery with 3 hectares of vineyards in 1991, counted among the group of rebellious young winemakers at the time producing a more modern style Barolo crafted to be immediately accessible. Over the years Enzo has moderated his approach, limiting the use of new French oak barriques and reducing extraction times during fermentation to produce elegantly styled, site expressive Barolos from some of the region’s top Crus, his vineyards now spanning 20 hectares across the Langhe. The Brunate cru has a mix of soils with some heavier limestone clay that adds extra power and structure to the wines that come from this site. The Enzo Boglietti 2016 Barolo Brunate opens to a garnet appearance with beautifully presented aromas of wild berry, forest floor, licorice and spent ember. The wine achieves a beautiful sense of unity with so many detailed aromas balanced over the slender texture and firm tannins. A mere 2,300 bottles were released, and this wine won't be fully accessible until 10 years after the harvest.
