B-21 Top Recommendation
This Barbera was awarded the Gambero Rosso's highest award last month – Tre Biccheri (three glasses), the highest rating from the Italian publication. Gaja, Bruno Giacosa and Aldo Conterno have their share of Tre Biccheri wines. 2017 was a hot vintage in Piedmont providing excellent ripening for Barbera. Effusively Barbera, luscious, succulent fruit with good concentration, and some acidity to give it great length. Some might consider this hedonic. That works for me!
