The 2010 Pinot Noir Spanish Springs (from a site in Edna Valley) is a gorgeous wine laced with expressive plums, dark red cherries and spices, all supported by clean veins of minerality. This juicy, fruit-forward Pinot needs to be enjoyed over the next few years. Winemaker Sashi Moorman used 20% whole clusters here. This is a lovely showing. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.
