Here I find a compelling display of ripe crushed cherries, with sweet herbs contrasting notes of moist earth and minerals. On the palate, the 2019 La Valentina Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo shows fleshy, soft textures focused on ripe fruits yet offset by vibrant acids and spice. The finish is medium in length, resonating on red berry and herbal tones. This is a pleasure to taste. Don’t look for unseen depths; simply enjoy.
