The 2015 Chablis Vieilles Vignes comes from a 1.5-hectare parcel of 60-year-old vines and is raised in 60% stainless steel and 40% in three- to six-year old oak barrels. It has a really quite classy bouquet, with light honeyed scents that do not impede upon the mineral aromas that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is well balanced with fresh acidity, a slight saline bent toward the finish, with a detailed, animated and tensile finish that really is a joy. Superb.
