Candy shop sweetness of Good & Plenty on the nose, along with bananas and cream. The palate is bold, rich, and balanced, offering almond, fig, vanilla cream, and grape jelly. Nice length on a finish that offers lovely notes of pine, roasted peanuts, dried herbs, and anise. Water unlocks vanilla and hints of tobacco leaf. Quite powerful and at times barrel forward, but flavorful and balanced all the same.

A rich and round Whiskey with bushels of cherry flavor.

A nose of blossom honey, fresh cherries, banana cream pie, licorice, and spice is followed by a palate that's delicate and creamy, with notes of vanilla frosting, orange, peanuts, marshmallow, and light pepper spice. Tobacco leaf on the finish, with cherry, oak, and understated spice. A sturdy, finessed exemplar of Tennessee style.

The finish has a slightly chalky character. Not off-putting in any way, just a bit linear.

Big caramel gives way to angel food cake, crème brûlée, lemon chiffon, and batter. But it doesn't stray far enough to resemble a flavored whiskey, delivering an oily texture and nice viscosity, oozing with apple, citrus, grape soda, and hints of leather. Not one for the purist, but enjoyable all the same.

Plenty of spice and grip, with water adding dark chocolate and black coffee. A quality dram that hits all the bells—length, depth, complexity, and sheer enjoyability.

Then red fruit, baking spice, and complex butterscotch over a palate-coating mouthfeel that's perfectly warm and balanced all over. As good as it is, it could be better with ten more proof points. Its light proof shows in a shorter-than-desired finish.

It finishes with milk chocolate, toasted nuts, and lingering cinnamon.

A beautiful sipper laden with dried fruits and flaky pastries on the nose with a surprisingly light palate for the ABV.
