This is a blend of five- and six-year-old high-rye bourbons. Expect a mild almond aroma and drying palate that mingles maple, tobacco and oak. Adding water brings out a nutty midpalate, plus a mocha tone. The long and warming finish adds a clove and black-pepper tingle.

Candy shop sweetness of Good & Plenty on the nose, along with bananas and cream. The palate is bold, rich, and balanced, offering almond, fig, vanilla cream, and grape jelly. Nice length on a finish that offers lovely notes of pine, roasted peanuts, dried herbs, and anise. Water unlocks vanilla and hints of tobacco leaf. Quite powerful and at times barrel forward, but flavorful and balanced all the same.
