The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino is smoky in the glass, smoldering up with a blend of wild herbs, crushed stone and dried black cherries. This comes to life on the palate, energetic and mineral-intense, with juicy acidity motivating its ripe wild berry fruits. It finishes spicy and long while maintaining its spry character. A gentle coating of tannins punctuates the experience quite nicely. There's depth but also energy here that is seldom seen from 2021 Rossos.

Attractive aromas of red fruit, licorice, walnut and dry earth. Medium- to full-bodied with ripe tannins and a succulent, fruit-forward character. Flavorful finish. Unfiltered. Drink now.
