Offers a ripe mix of coulised boysenberry and blackberry fruit flavors enlivened by blood orange peel acidity and a touch of pomegranate puree. Rich, with muscular tannins, but shows sleek integration and balance. Savory herb, espresso, pepper and mineral notes push through and linger on the chewy finish. Best from 2027 through 2035. 16,600 cases made, 1,200 cases imported.

As the name suggests, this Resera is released five years after harvest, resting in bottle after 18 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels (the former represents 80%), half of which new. Nuanced nose, with intense dark fruit topped with pencil shavings and graphite dust. Fleshy and juicy on the mouth, the fine yet assertive tannins holding the ripe blackberry and black cherry fruit withe ease. Muscular yet lean, with a really pleasant textural appeal.
