The Russian River Valley Pinot Noir from Rodney Strong is a mix of heritage and Dijon clones from different vineyards in the region. The 2023 vintage opens with aromas of ripe berries, fresh mint, and savoury herbs like a bouquet garni. It's generous and layered on the palate, offering rich flavours of juicy plums, black cherries, and a hint of tobacco leaf. The tannins are soft with a bright acidity. It's a nice and balanced expression of Russian River Valley Pinot.
