A firm white, with good concentration to the ripe apple, pear and tropical fruit flavors. Shy at first, but opens up midpalate, with an array of glazed citrus and honeyed notes, followed by a fresh finish. Drink now through 2015.
88 Points, The Wine Spectator (2010)
There is a freshness and purity, finesse and complexity in the Lascaux wines that is rare in this wild landscape. The consistency of the winemaking, the quality of their wines, and great values they present make this domaine a treasure of the Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant portfolio.
