2009 Chateau Faizeau VV, Montagne St-Emilion (750ml) »FUTURES«

A major sleeper of the vintage and one of the best wines ever from Faizeau, this wine displays an abundance of black currant, black cherry and smoky, earthy fruit, a full-bodied mouthfeel, silky tannins, low acidity, and a long finish. A big-time over-achiever, it should drink well for up to a decade.

Offers some berry and mineral character, with a medium body and a coffee aftertaste. A little hollow, but attractive.
