The seductive, medium-bodied, fruity 2008 Pinot Noir Russian River exhibits lots of sweet currant fruit intermixed with clove and underbrush characteristics. These are very fairly priced, fruit-forward, delicious Pinot Noirs that are all meant to be drunk during their first 3-5 years of life. 88 points, Wine Advocate # 187 Feb 2010
Jammy in raspberry and cherry fruit flavors, with rich notes of smoky sandalwood, bacon, vanilla and peppery spices. Crisp acidity works to provide brightness and balance, but it’s basically a wine to drink right away. 88 points, Wine Enthusiast (2009-08-19) |
