Full-bodied, ripe and fleshy, offering pure and balanced plum and black cherry fruit. Easy-drinking, ending with a touch of toasty oak. Drink now through 2014. 710 cases made. 88 points, The Wine Spectator -August 31, 2010
The accent here may be on ripeness, but rich, black cherry fruit holds its own and a full dollop of creamy oak affords the wine a further boost in richness. Full on the palate with plenty of flesh and just a touch of glyceriny fatness, it is not one for teaming with delicate foods and will show best when accompanied by savory lamb or beef dishes. 88 points Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine Volume 34 Issue 8: June 2010
A big, sturdy Pinot. Not especially elegant or transparent, but it sure is rich, offering massive waves of cherries, Dr. Pepper cola, chocolate and spices. Probably at its best soon. - S.H. (7/1/2010) - 88 points, The Wine Enthusiast
