This unique Shiraz has aromas of blackberry, smoked sausage, pepper and blackcurrant. On the palate, mouthfilling blueberry and dark fruit are balanced by acid and spice. Pair with grilled meat, lamb.

The Indaba 2008 Shiraz is not in the same league with their whites, but nonetheless offers attractive fresh black raspberry fruit tinged with pepper and herbs. I would not say the 6 grams of residual sugar are needed to support the fruit, but I don’t find them an annoyance either, and the finish strikes a tolerable balance between ripe berry and vegetal notes.
