Light ruby. A high-toned nose of very fresh cranberry, raspberry and red pinot fruit introduces detailed and minerally light weight flavors that are delicious, firm and reasonably persistent. This is rather light though not insubstantial as there is good flavor authority and plenty of Chambolle character. 86-89 Points, Allen Meadows' Burghound (Jan 2010)
Medium red. Tangy aromas of raspberry, red cherry, minerals and pepper. Supple but juicy and precise, with lovely mid-palate sweetness. A ripe, suave fruit bomb that finishes with dusty tannins and very good length. 87-90 Points, Stephen Tanzer's Int'l Cellar (2010) |
