The 2007 Chianti Classico is a very pretty, floral Chianti endowed with generous red fruit. This medium-bodied, delicate wine is best enjoyed over the next few years while the fruit is fresh. Texturally, it is quite elegant and perfumed, almost Pinot-like in the way it hovers on the palate. The finish is long and sublime. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2014.
