60% Sylvaner, 15% Muscat, 15% Auxerrois, 10% Chasselas. A fresh, dry wine that is versatile with food and they succeeded with flying colors! A terrific nose of minerals, spicy/earthy thyme still in the planter and – seriously – a bowl of mixed nuts, the palate exhibits fresh green apple and snappy acidity with the thyme note continuing through the long, lustrous finish. A standout in its class!
The estate owns 10 hectares of vineyards that are certified biodynamic, with vines ranging in age from 25 to 45 years. The total production comes from 87 hectares on the steep slopes in and around the village of Husseren-les-Châteaux.
