2006 Chateau Paradis Terre Des Anges, Coteaux Aix-en-Provence (750ml)

The brilliant 2006 Terre des Anges, a blend of Cabernet, Grenache, and Syrah, is very impressive. Dense ruby/purple with graphite, cassis, kirsch, and a touch of garrigue, the wine cuts a broad swath across the palate, tastes Provencal, and has superb concentration as well as silky tannins. Drink it over the next decade.
