Will this Bordeaux blend age? Right now it’s tight in tannins and very dry, with a stinging astringency through the finish. There’s a core of molten blackberries and black currants, but it doesn’t seem like a longterm cellar candidate. Fresh and vibrant, with ripe, supple plum, black cherry, currant and spice notes that are full-bodied, balanced, focused and persistent, ending with pleasantly earthy tannins.
