Sourced and bottled by the Bordeaux negociant and importer, Barriere Freres, this Merlot from the South, a Vin de Pays D'oc wine, is an excellent value. It is ripe and dry and shows a chocolately exterior and tender black cherry. The acids are low and the tannins are nearly not present. This is a nice find from a trip to Bordeaux earlier in the year. Perfect for casual events and cookouts. 87 Points, Rhett Beiletti, B-21 |
