There are only tiny amounts of Clos du Jaugueyron’s 2005 Margaux offering, so I’ll keep my notes brief. It possesses loads of floral, blueberry, and raspberry aromas and flavors, medium body, moderately high tannin, and a sweet, long finish. It should evolve gracefully for 15+ years.

Bright ruby-red. Enticing aromas of black raspberry, dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Sweet and bright, with medium density and ripe, harmonious acidity. Best today on the finish, which features smoky oak, sweet tannins and good lingering berry fruit. Just four barrels produced.
