"Deep, saturated red-ruby. Ripe, highly aromatic nose combines raw currant, gunflint and pepper. Then quite tightly wound and a bit youthfully disjointed, with flavors of crushed currant and fresh herbs. This was the first time we destemmed these vines, since the stems were so green, noted Philippe Guigal. Today the wine's oak tannins have not yet knit with its fruit.
