A summer barbecue on the nose: Meaty smoke, charcoal grill, burnt ends, and charred hot dogs pull you in. Soon enough, there’s a zip of blackberry jam and grape hard candy, with a hint of vanilla bean. The palate is delightfully creamy, abundant in fluffernutter sweetness, cinnamon baked apple, and a sizzle of jalapeño spice. The finish is round and long-lasting and delivers caramelized sugar, cooked raspberries, and Black Forest cake.
