The Lafarge Caillerets is a standout, with intense aromas of black plum and nuances of earth and mineral on the attack. It has superb depth of flavour and a creamy edge on the palate. Some of the vines have been replanted in a biodynamic spiral pattern; these are now being reintroduced to the blend. Frédéric believes this is what gives the wine its incredible density. Whatever the reason, this wine is simply outstanding.
