The 2021 Barbera d'Asti L'Avvocata is a bright, refreshing Barbera to enjoy over the next handful of years. Crushed red/purplish fruit, lavender and rose petal open first, with a kick of bright acids on the finish that keep things lively. The 2021 is flat-out delicious.

The wine is true to the Barbera grape and delivers an easy-drinking approach that is up front and primary. Only the 15% alcohol content feels out of bounds.
