The 2020 Bianco Critone shows nuances of peach and melon complemented by dusty florals. Its bright acidity and sour citrus tones make for a lively and motivating expression, as crisp mineral-tinged orchard fruits cascade across the palate. This finishes energetic, leaving the mouth watering with a zest of sour lime. The Bianco Critone is primarily Chardonnay with a dollop of Sauvignon Blanc. While I crave more aromatic depth, this remains quite enjoyable.

This is creamy and light- to medium-bodied, with orange peel acidity providing a fresh tang that enlivens flavors of baked nectarine and white cherry fruit, lemon thyme and accents of minerally saline and graphite. Subtle finish. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now. 30,000 cases made, 800 cases imported.
