The 2020 Echézeaux Grand Cru was quite reduced on the nose when I tasted it despite coaxing, though some attractive tertiary, clove-tinged elements emerge with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. Finely knit, smooth and silky, though perhaps the Malconsorts has more personality on the finish at the moment.
