A full-bodied red made with a blend of syrah, mourvèdre, carignan and grenache noir. Complex and attractive nose showing ripe dark plums, peppercorn, bay leaf, baking spices, undergrowth, chestnut, and roasted meat. Rich and creamy, with a full-bodied yet layered palate. Smoky, flavorful and tightly wound with a pretty lengthy finish. Drinkable now, but better after 2023.
