Barr an Uisce Wicklow Rare Small Batch Irish Whiskey (750ml)
From Wicklow, Leinster, Ireland

93BTI 92WE

Bright gold color. Aromas and flavors of mocha, warm chocolate cereal, maple nut fudge, and green tobacco leaf with a satiny, bright, dry-yet-fruity body and a warming, intricate, very long caramelized almonds and pecans, chocolate drizzled fruits, sweet spices, and cedar and minerals finish. A superbly flavorful and nuanced Irish blended whiskey for all applications.

93 points, Beverage Testing Institute (Aug 2016)

Made by Wicklow Hills Whiskey Company, cut with water from the family well, and aged in former Bourbon and oloroso Sherry barrels. The end result: a mild vanilla scent with hints of pineapple and lemon zest and a light, creamy palate. Look for vanilla, lemon cream and honey, finishing smoothly with ginger, cinnamon and cayenne heat. A splash of water teases out more vanilla, oak and a hint of cocoa sweetness.

Jameson Caskmates Irish Whiskey (375ml)

91WE Top 100

Beer lovers will enjoy this Irish whiskey aged in craft beer barrels. It appears burnished gold and smells oaky and grainy. The flavor evokes a pleasing combination of beer and whiskey, accented with hops, bitter chocolate and a clove-spiced finish. It even feels slightly fizzy, like the carbonation of beer.

2019 Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release Irish Whiskey (750ml)
From Midleton, County Cork, Ireland

94WHA

A classic with its nose of toffee, vanilla, treacle tarts, and fragrant pot still spices. Initially, flavors of green apple, red fruits, toffee, nimble spices, caramel, and vanilla before a minty master class: rubbed mint leaves become peppermint, developing into After Eight mints, then cool mints. Taste for a minute or more for the full experience. The smooth finish has clove, pepper, and bitter dark chocolate.

The Whistler Double Oaked Irish Whiskey (750ml)
From Ireland

90WHA

Sweetness and richness were my first impressions of this sourced whiskey blended at Boann Distillery, and it’s the oloroso sherry finish that’s made all the difference. Apple, barley sugar, aromatic spices, baked citrus, cherry, and dried apricot against a backbone of grain. Vanilla fudge, baked fruit desserts, and apple, it’s rich, smooth, and creamy with swirling spices before returning to a finish of vanilla, spice, and dried apple.

The Whistler Irish Honey Liqueur (750ml)
From Ireland

91TP

Honeyed tangerine peel, jasmine, and vanilla bean make for compelling aromas. This 66-proof spirit is even livelier on the palate, with flavors of white pepper and orange zest coated in a fine layer of honey and beeswax. The sweetness is restrained enough to not mask the whiskey.
