Pale orange. Smoky bouquet of redcurrant, orange zest and rose, with a toasty leesy nuance gaining strength with aeration. Gently sweet and elegant, this blend of Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau opens with tangerine and strawberry flavors that gain weight on air. Finishing on a stony note, it shows very good clarity and length, with a subtly floral aftertaste.

There is also a pink sparkler, the NV Crémant du Jura Rosé Extra Brut: 40% Pinot Noir and 30% each Poulssard and Trousseau. The Rosé is more complicated to make non-dosage, with the lees reduction. The nose is quite shy, but the palate has some more obvious flavors of red berries, and they are also amplified by the mousse and the acidity. It fills your palate, and it’s clean and tasty.

Light white cherry, strawberry and rose water notes extend through the dry and taut, yet elegant, finish. A lingering tea accent emerges in the end. Drink now. 830 cases made.
