Pours a light amber color with a significant head and good retention followed by sticky lingering lacing. Subtle tangerine and hints of sweet toasted biscuit on the nose followed by malt, hop florals and citrus rind in the mouth. Medium body with a slightly bitter and lingering finish; perfect for barbecue fare.

Brilliant amber color. Robust aromas of roasted root vegetables, herbal hops, and citrus pastry with a round, dryish medium-to-full body and a lingering spiced jicama, okra and mineral finish. A great food beer.

Led by a soft malt nose and a slight citrus smell, this is one of the most refreshing Vienna lagers we sampled. That malty nose showcases some caramel sweetness and some fruitiness, which is surprising considering this beer is brewed with lager yeast. Wonderful, floral hops are also more prevalent in this beer's flavor than most examples of the style, though the malt flavors are not as noticeable as the style dictates. However, the toasty and biscuitlike flavors are elegant and complement the hops nicely, and the mouthfeel of this brew is well-balanced between crisp and filling.
