The Napa Valley Chardonnay is sourced primarily from Carneros, with additional fruit from Wappo Hill in Stags Leap, and a small portion from Alexander Valley, which lends a touch of florality and elegance. Barrel-fermented with bâtonnage, the wine shows a deft balance of ripe citrus and orchard fruit, accented by a kiss of toasty oak spice and honeysuckle aromas. The palate is sleek, with notes of tangerine oil, candied ginger, and grilled peach, all carried by a saline acidity that drives a mouthwatering finish. Nicely balanced and expressive for the price point.

Delicious, showing spiced apples, vanilla bean, lemon curd and poached pears. Full-bodied and well-balanced, this is nicely rich yet backed by mouthwatering acidity. A generous wine from a warm, ripe vintage. Barrel-fermented on the lees, using 40% new French oak. Drink now.
