This is a beautiful wine that perfectly expresses pinot noir from the Willamette Valley in an exceptional year. It shows bright red fruit, flowers, juicy acidity and iron-like minerality. The long finish carries flavors of orange peel and bitter cocoa. Drink or hold.

The 2024 Pinot Noir Avni pours a bright jeweled ruby color and is pretty and inviting, with spice box, floral perfume, anise, wild berries, warming spice, toasted earth, and cedar. Medium-bodied, it has good length, youthful chalky tannins, salty lift, dark stones, and hints of both blue and black raspberry. From around 30% estate-grown fruit, give it another six months if you can, though it is already very pretty. Drink 2026-2036.

The 2024 Pinot Noir Avni blends vibrant black cherry with sweet sage and clove to form an inviting bouquet. This is soft-textured with silken depths of ripe wild berry fruit propelled by juicy acidity. It leaves chalky mineral tones and a hint of wild blueberry that pucker the cheeks and call me back for more.
