Clear bright white fruit. The Enseignères has an elegance which the Aubues cannot quite match, every element is here, with a zesty note that livens the fruit which is at perfectly judged ripeness. It is hard to see how one could do better. Drink from 2029-2033. Tasted Oct 2025.

Here too the wood treatment is moderate on the fresh and equally bright nose of petrol, rose petal, citrus and the essence of pear. The sleek and beautifully textured, if not especially dense, flavors possess better depth and persistence on the balanced, clean and agreeably dry finale.
