Subtle aromas of pie crust, minerals, lemon peel and ripe green apples. Creamy and medium- to full-bodied but quite bright and dry, with lovely lees adding to the texture. Long and composed. Drink or hold.

The objective in 2023 was to keep the freshness at all costs,' according to Frédéric Weber. His flagship white wine from Beaune testifies to his successful efforts with lovely, mineral-inflected ripe pear, apricot and nectarine aromas. The texture is creamy and rich, but the balance is fine enough to ensure a lingering finish. The grapes are from the Bouchard monopole of nearly 2ha on marl soils. Weber notes that the vines were planted at different times, and thus his teams picked each part separately. The end result is lush but should age well.
