The nose of the 2023 Pinot Noir Grande Cuvee is very expressive and nicely detailed, and I really like this. It has fantastic, focused notes of cranberry cocktail, darker spice, crushed stones, and fresh floral perfume. The palate is medium bodied and well-defined, with an even, silky texture and a refreshing feel of acidity on the finish. It was 80% destemmed and was aged for nine months in 20% new French oak barrels. This was a fabulous start to the reds at my tasting! Drink 2025-2035. 72,000 bottles were produced.

The fruit is just as red and ripe on the palate, with red raspberries melding with unsweetened dark chocolate, straw and balsa. Pour this wine with a bowl of turkey chili and "Northern Exposure" reruns.
