The 2022 Cannonau di Sardegna Noras smolders up with a smoky mix of crushed rocks, sage, nuances of blood orange and dried cherries. This is fleshy in feel, with weighty textures offset by fresh acidity as ripe berry tones settle in. A coating of fine tannins lingers as the 2022 tapers off with fantastic length and structure. I love the tension and complexity here. Let the 2022 rest in the cellar for another handful of years.

Roasted red fruit shows up on the nose with touches of wild herb. The palate has overripe raspberry, red plum, and accented with dried red florals. The finish has a little bit of chisel to it but still drinks quite easily and fresh.

A smoky and spicy wine with roasted black pepper, licorice and raspberries on the nose. Crisp on the palate, with good tension, supple fruit and tight yet good tannins. Medium-bodied with good length. Drink now.
