A lovely chardonnay with some bread crust and spice to the lemon curd and green apples. Fresh and creamy on the palate with a medium body and nice length. Generous, but still pretty dry. Drink now.

The 2022 Catena Chardonnay is a medicinal and balsamic expression of the varietal, with aromas of bay leaf and white flowers. The palate is dry and medium-bodied with mellow acidity and moderate ripeness and alcohol.

The 2022 Chardonnay is made with grapes from the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. Fifty percent of the wine was aged 6-8 months in up to third-use French oak barrels. Yellow with a golden sheen. The nose presents aromas of dill, creamed corn, and pear with hazel- and other nutty notes against a faint oaky backdrop. The palate is indulgent and broad, with a creamy texture and refreshing expression before the lingering nutty finish.
