Medium ruby in color, the 2022 Rosso Di Montalcino lifts from the glass with expressive aromas of sour cherry pie, medicinal herbs, and orange peel. Tangy and bright, it has good snap up front on the palate, with good continuity and a clean, easygoing finish. It has a lot of personality and is going to be best enjoyed over the next 3-4 years.
