After co-founding Frog's Leap Winery in Napa in the 1980s, Larry Turley's passion to produce an artisan, old-vine Zin led him to sell his partnership share in Frog's Leap and establish Turley Wine Cellars in 1993 with 5 acres of the original frog farm and winery, focusing on the recovery of California's historic vineyards and expanding to over 75 acres of organically farmed vineyards. Crafted as a harmonious blend of California old-vine Zin from diverse terroirs, the 2021 Zinfandel Old Vines was sourced from over 20 small parcels planted with vines ranging from 50 to 130 years of age from diverse locations including Napa and Sonoma, Mendocino, Lodi, Contra Costa, Amador, and Paso Robles.
