The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Premium contains estate fruit from Simonsberg Mountain, slightly younger parcels than the Reserve. It undergoes malo in barrel, aging for 19 months using 21% new oak. The bouquet offers black plum and pencil box aromas, and the oak is nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, tobacco-infused black fruit, and a strong graphite note towards the finish. A good solid Cabernet... it represents tremendous value for money.
