There is a fairly deep colour and ripe blackberry and plum fruit with hints of mineral and smoke. All of the fruit comes from their old vine holdings in the deep clay soils at the base of the slope in Vosne. The grapes are destemmed, and the fermenting must is punched down daily and pumped over in the morning and the evening. The wines are ageing know in cask (25% new).
