Inama has been the pioneer of Carmenere in the Colli Berici of the Veneto and to great effect. The Più is a blend of Carmenere with a touch of Merlot and creates a deeply hued wine that opens with aromas of spiced black plum, tobacco, sage, white pepper and sweet spices from the time spent in oak. Velvety and lush, the palate is filled with fresh and preserved blackberries with spice and savory herbs all framed by the fine and supple tannins on the finish.

This is a quintessential trattoria or bistro wine, as you may. Peppery, refined, lifted and dangerously easy to drink. Mid-weighted, but lighter of feel. Peppery salumi, mint, sage and tarragon, not too far away from a cool climate syrah, or mondeuse. Distinctly alpine of feel. Fresh, effusive of energy and dangerous. I love this wine! An everyday wine drinker's wine. Drink now.
