An exotic yet serious nose that borders on tropical with green mango, papaya, salted lemon, minerals and a touch of cream. Broad on the palate with fresh but supple acidity and a tangy finish, full of almonds and a hint of bitter herbs. Deliciously phenolic and structured. Drink or hold.

Still very young but already quite expressive and with a vibrant palate, the 2021 Semillon has a very low pH, reflecting the great freshness the wine achieved in this cooler vintage. It comes from an 80-year-old vineyard at 930 meters in altitude in Agrelo where the soils are rich in clay. It fermented and matured in 250-liter oak barrels, 20% of which developed a veil of flor yeast that give it a faint spicy twang. It has a seamless palate with a chalky and dry texture and finish, tasty and expressive. It should develop nicely in bottle. 5,250 bottles produced.
