The 2020 Superior Tinto comes from their Douro Superior property, from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and some Sousão grapes to give it acidity. It was a warm and ripe year, and the wine achieved 14% alcohol but avoided over-ripeness (the vineyard is north-facing), with 5.1 grams of acidity. It's clean and modern, with integrated oak. It's spicy and tasty, with a smoky twist in the finish after spending 12 months in French oak barrels. 99,986 bottles and some other formats produced. It was bottled in July 2023.

From Crasto's vineyard in the Douro Superior, the wine has a smoky and warm-herb aroma. It has dense tannins and juicy black-currant fruits. The character is forward, ripe and young, Concentrated fruits are ready to soften further. Drink from 2025. Suitable for vegans.
