The 2020 Amaya Colección is primarily Tempranillo, with a 4% dash of Albillo, primarily sourced from old vines in Altos de Gromejón, Ribera del Duero. It was fermented with stems and aged for 18 months in French barrels, resulting in a garnet-red hue. The ripe fruit aromas feature blackberry and cinnamon with traces of vanilla. The palate is dry and delicate, especially compared to other Arzuaga wines. The finely-grained tannins and mild freshness precede a savory, chocolate-like finish. A prêt-à-porter Ribera del Duero wine.
