The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra from Isla de Maipo spent 14 months in French barrels and foudres, 20% of them new. Maroon red in color, it offers a nose of black currant and mint plus hints of camphor and a vivacious touch of bay leaf. Complex and juicy with fine-grained tannins, this is a classic Maipo Cab.

Following the line of the 2017, the 2019 Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra Cabernet Sauvignon keeps good freshness and poise in this warm and dry year. The oak is quite integrated, and the fruit is ripe without excess. There are some spicy and cigar ash notes along with abundant fine-grained tannins typical of the variety. 180,000 bottles produced.
