The 2019 Cabernet Franc Gran XI from Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo was aged for 12 months in a fifth new barrels. Garnet red in the glass. The aromas include notes of jalapeño, herbs and blackcurrant along with mint and hints of cedar and oak. In the mouth, it has a free and expansive flow with good body sculpted by the tannins into a more compact whole before the long, bold finish. The 2019 is a distinctive wine.

Attractive blackberry and fresh-herb aromas with hints of walnuts and charred herbs. It’s full-to medium-bodied with soft tannins and a juicy, savory finish. Attractive and flavorful. Drink now.
